Why Antioxidants

It’s been found that there is a common factor in disease production which is identified as “free radicals” which are produced by pollutants, toxins, radiation and stress. This is how damage is done at the cellular level. A lot of excess free radicals find their way into the body through the mouth. The mouth can then be an opportunity where we can counterbalance these free radicals and begin the healing process.

Antioxidants protect cells from inflammation and boost your immune system to secrete toxins and eliminate bad bacteria and invading pathogens. Antioxidant supplements ingested or locally applied to the oral mucous membranes and skin can mitigate and neutralize the excess free radicals.

Moringa

Moringa is an edible plant originally from northern India and cultivated worldwide.

It is used to prevent, reduce, repair and/or regulate hundreds of diseases through its ability to produce antioxidants which helps to fight inflammation and vitamins, minerals and amino acids which are essential for our bodily functions and boost our immune systems.

The leaf of the Moringa plant has been found to contain 46 antioxidants and in its powder form is a concentrated form of these antioxidants. These antioxidants counterbalance all three risk factors, builds the immune system, neutralizes radicals and serves as an antibacterial, anti and block diseases at their formation before damage is done.

Scientific and clinical research has proven that certain antioxidants applied topically can counteract the damaging effects of free radicals on skin cells. It’s also confirmed that antioxidants applied topically in the mouth can enter through the mucous membrane and have a therapeutic effect on oral (gingival and periodontal) cells.

Topical application of antioxidants to oral tissues or the skin directly penetrates and enters the bloodstream, reaching specific targets in the correct dosage faster than when ingested through the mouth where digestion and absorption is a slower process.
